Some extensions use the Layouts (Design -> Layout) of Opencart to work.
In BurnEngine a third party module can be added in the layout “TB_Widgets”.
But how we use extensions that only work with other layouts? As an example the Part Finder extension
Hope you can give advise.

Hi,
1) You need to use the “TB_Widgets” layout to export the 3rd party module for Page Builder.
2) Once exported, you can use this module everywhere inside the Page Builder: Pages, Categories, Layouts etc.
If you have something more specific, please provide website and admin access, so we can help you.

Hello TB,
1 & 2) This is clear and we already use this often and works great, but..
Some extentions do not have modules like “Slideshow”. With extensions “Slideshow” you can add submodules for every slider you want. The submodules are visible to add in layout “TB_Widgets” for us within the theme. This I believe is the correct way.
The extension Webkul Part Finder does not have submodules and therefore it is impossible to use it in a BurnEngine theme. See there manual at “How To Add Part Finder On The Layouts” https://webkul.com/blog/opencart-car-parts-finder/#panel-4
Webkul is also looking at this problem so maybe you guys can advice or maybe they have to change there extension works and start using submodules for every Part List.
Best regards,
George
