Hello, we manage to fix this by extracting a 3rd party extension that finally changed the urls to a Friendly one. The problem actually was that it was not redirecting if the request is non-seo (index.php?route=…). We manualy added the friendly urls through the database but even so it was not reading them as friendly. After installing this 3rd party “tool” it started seeing them as the it should be. And when you are on the English version in the “Brands” page the url became “mysite.com/en/brands and when you want to switch to the other language for example Italian it bacome “mysite.com/it/brands” and everyone is happy Not sure if i am allowed to name the 3rd party product, but if its going to help other just say and ill write it down. PS: Hope you answer faster on this one : http://support.themeburn.com/topic/responsive-problem-3 Best regards, |

Hi, we disabled the BurnEngine SEO pack module and enabled the default theme. It seems that SEO urls link do not work as well. With the default theme enabled, BurnEngine cannot affect (and potentially brake) the SEO functionality. Can you please make sure the SEO links work with the default theme so we can check if there are further issues with BurnEngine ? Regards, |

We reinstall the shop and we we found out that: 1st. For the categories: It works normal when we activate SEO from the Settings–>Server. And than we refresh the cache from the browser. 2nd. For the Products: It works normal when we activate SEO from the Settings–>Server. After we refresh the cache from the browser. 3rd. For Account,Wish List Etc: It is still not making them friendly (I think this is normal, because we think we need extension for that), but when i add them into the database – oc_url_alias for example for : https://cadstore.bg/index.php?route=account/register the button will still open me the not friendly one but if i insert it manually with the new keyword like this: https://cadstore.bg/register it open the page normally. So we think there is some problem with the SEO pack provided by BurnEngine Best Regards, |

UPDATE When we force https:// for the entire site because we have a SSL and we write in the .htaccess this rewrite conditions: RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80 it started adding “index.php?_route_=” to the url. only to the products and category -because they use the keyword for the SEO friendly. When i delete this rule in the .htaccess and there is not redirect in place the SEO friendly urls work properly. This is all in the defautl theme. On the new installation we have not install the burnengine yet.

UPDATE 2 We installed the BurnEngine. Result: When you hover over (the preview url that is shown on the bottom-left side of the browser) for example on “Brands” menu button we see: http://www.cadstore.bg/index.php?route=product/manufacturer, BUT when clicked the loaded url is generated with the keyword from oc_url_alias or as: http://www.cadstore.bg/manufacturer. Isnt it supposed to change even the preview of the url, not only to redirect it to the keyword (seo-friendly) one ? |

UPDATE 3 We installed second language and again we coulnd change it if we are on a system opencart page like common/home , account/login etc. When you hover over the desire language and click it it only reload the page, nothing changes in the language itself. So we think that SEO pack is not working properly. At the moment we have successfully installed the same 3rd party with which we fix it the first time, but we really want to use the built in and payed for SEO pack from BurnEngine, beacouse the last time everything stopped working by itself and this solution at the moment must be temporary not permanent. We hope you find a solution to this matter once and for all. Best regards, Stefan Pavlov |

Hi, we uploaded the latest (not yet released) version of Technopolis into your server. This version includes fixes for the SEO issues you have described. It seems there was a problem with the latest OpenCart version which wasn’t detected by us. We also disabled the 3rd party SEO extension. It seems everything is working fine now. The only limitation is that ‘Pretty SEO Urls’ option must be turned on for now if you want to use language prefixes. The official release will include a fix that will allow to turn off this option (though we doubt you would). Regards, |

Hello Well you did not fix it really… At the moment IT IS removing the “index.php?route=” BUT it is not using the keywords from the url_alias. When the “Pretty System Url” is turned ON. If i turned it off and turn on the Redirect SEO (wich you left turn off when i log on this morning) it redirects them to the correct one using the keyword from url_alias but i cannot have the language prefix and i again cannot change from one language to other. For example (with Pretty System Url ON): I want to register an account and i click on “register” . It loads me http://www.cadstore.bg/en/account/register (the same url as before but without “index.php?route=” BUT that is not the actual url. From url_alies I have defined that I want account/register to be only “register” and if you open the page http://www.cadstore.bg/en/register everything is OK. I have also tried and deleted this from url_alias, with hopes that when account/register is not in there it will load the correct content, even if its going to be on the url : http://www.cadstore.bg/en/account/register BUT again i am seeing the content of home page: http://www.cadstore.bg/en/ not the register account page. Waiting for response and final fix, you are almost there guys. PS1: Now it wont let me to change my currencies. It wont change it and it sends me to this url: PS: I tried to edit the replay but i guess its too complicated for me and suddenly i found out that the replay is moved to : http://support.themeburn.com/topic/support-policy Best regards, Stefan Pavlov |
