I have the shoppica theme on my opencart installation my web site is:

I want to add that same sidebar that shows there on every page! I have set it up through my administration panel but does not work, on my older template it was working fine, any help please? also I’ve installed this vdmod to show all products link and for some reason everything is messy on that page and same thing it was working fine on my other template.

Hi,

1) For the sidebar issue. Make sure you have attached all modules you want with position “Column Right” and layout “Category”.

2) The “All products” template should be touched a bit. We can do this, if you hand it to us.

P.S. Be sure to zip the file before you attach it here.

well on the sidebar what I want to display is the same things that I currently have displaying on the all products page…. the comoddo logo, some ads, some social media icons etc (thats all html – not a module ) so how will I go about showing that on the sidebar in all my pages just not the “all products” page?

what exactly do you want me to attach for you to touch up the all products page?

Hi,

If you need more information about how to work with OpenCart modules, you should check the official OpenCart documentation.

About the non formatted “All Products” page, we will need the extension files.

P.S. Be sure to zip the files before you attach them here.

Hi,

As we’ve said in our first post here, you need to manage your modules. Once you have modules with position -> Column Right, then you will have a sidebar. This is the way OpenCart works. To remove the information from the sidebar, just remove the module instances with position -> Column Right.

To insert some html, you can use the Welcome module with some tiny modification, which we have explained here:

Please, use zip format, when attaching files here.
