Breadcrumbs in Stories

Hi,

I’m using Stories as a blog for my store, and I found out that, when I’m inside a post, the breadcrumbs for the home page will appear twice, as you can see in this address below:
http://precious2.agenciaesse.com.br/index.php?route=stories/show&story_id=1
(you can see that the breadcrumbs read HomePrincipal (Home = home page / Principal = main page in brazilian portuguese)

If you go back to the blog listing, you will see that only Home appears.

How can I make only 1 string appear?

thank you,

Bruno.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem is, in the list page, it doesn’t appear translated, so now, as I’ve hidden the “Home” string by setting it’s value to none, the text appears differently in each page.

In the listing, it appears Home
in the post details, is shows Principal.

Is there a way to show the main variable in the list (translated)?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The “home” text string is part of the theme language file (the first language variable at the top). We see you have localized your theme, but maybe you have missed some words?

Hi!

Here’s what’s happening:
the “principal” word is the localized string for the theme.

The problem is: in the post details, the module is printing both strings: the localized concatenated with the “Home”, that is the untraslated string, so it’s showing HomePrincipal

In the blog listing, it is showing only the original string, “Home”. Is there a way to show only the localized?

Hi,

Maybe you haven’t fully localized OpenCart default language file at

catalog/language/YOUR_LANGUAGE/common/header.php

Can you please check the first line?

$_['text_home']          = 'Home';

Hi! I checked and it is indeed translated.

<?php
$_['text_home']          = 'Principal';

What seems to be the problem is that it’s either getting the ‘text_home’ variable from 2 different places (only in that page) or there’s something else going on that I can’t find out.

Hi,

The “Home” text is only in these two files:

catalog/language/YOUR_LANGUAGE/common/header.php
catalog/language/YOUR_LANGUAGE/BurnEngine/theme.lang.php

If you haven’t copied theme or header language file, then the English file is taken.

We could take a look for you, if you share ftp access data.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Thank you! I managed to find my mistake, it was actually in another file. I left one of the translations in “Home”. Thank you and sorry about that.
