Bug: Products without image Undefined variable notice

There seems to be a bug on the product page if a product does not contain an image.

Notice: Undefined variable: width in /system/vendor/BurnEngine/catalog/plugin/ProductPlugin.php on line 108
Notice: Undefined variable: height in /system/vendor/BurnEngine/catalog/plugin/ProductPlugin.php on line 109

System Info:
Pavilion 2.2.7/BurnEngine 1.2.7/OC 2.3.0.2/PHP 7.0.26

Hi,

Generally, there is a check that prevents that exact problem. We cannot reproduce it locally and will need admin and ftp access to check your installation.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

We’ve fixed the problem by editing system/vendor/BurnEngine/catalog/plugin/ProductPlugin.php

The fix will also be added with the next update.

Another thing though; Shouldn’t the “No image” image show when a product doesn’t have a product image?

Hi,

Yes, there should be a placeholder image. As long as it is existing in 

image/placeholder.png

The placeholder image exist and is displayed in the product list but not on the product page, which cause the product page to collaps.

Hi,

This is the default OpenCart behavior and we’ve kept it. Unfortunately, if you want a “no image” picture in the product info page, you will have to manually upload it.
