Can't access Theme Options using HTTPS

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi, I just tried to activate https protocol to secure my site. But if I use https, I can’t access theme options. The page can’t reload. I tried to use http again and it works well.

What should I do?

Thank you

Hi,

We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Okay, this is the access:

When I click the TB menu, the protocol change to regular http://.

For comparasion, I’ve old site (for experiment) that use seo url extension and the url looks like this.

Although I use https:// the seo url is fine. I just realize the seo url is not working after https:// error fixed.

This error is not connected to our https fix, because it concerns the admin area only. It is connected with the way you force https on the frontend. You do it with htaccess, but this is not the right way.

We have attached an extension which should fix this problem. You have to unzip it and install it through the opencart extension installer. Then you have to refresh the extensions.

Thanks for your help. It works well now. :)

But, I think I got another problem after this :D

Now, I hard to open view BE Theme Options (ex: Menu Composer) and notice an error “this page trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources”.

Need another fix? :D

Hi,

Was the “Use SSL” option in System > Settings intentionally turned OFF? When we put it ON everything worked fine.
