Cart Gets Empty on Checkout

Hi Team,

We recently upgraded to shoppica 1.5.1.3. Been facing a weird issue. Loosing customers because of which.

As we add products to the cart and click on checkout. It navigates me to the signup page if we aren’t logged in. But it doesn’t stop there, it immediately empty’s the cart and throws a message saying “Your cart is empty”.

Please help me in this issue. Looking forward to your revert asap.

Hi Raj,

Could you provide some more information? We may need a ftp access as well.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Thank you for the response Team,

The issue goes this way.

Step1 – I as a user add the products to the cart ( without logging in) (No Options assigned to product)
Step2 – Click on View Cart on the TOP.
Step3 – After seeing the products, i click on checkout.

After clicking on checkout, i should be landed on to the sign in page (as i have not logged in).
But the page doesn’t stay on the sign in/Register page, rather it gets refreshed on its own and immediately pops a message saying “Your Shopping Cart is Empty”.

This is weird, Initially thought it could be a browser issue, but its the same in all the browsers.

Please help, i will not be able to provide u the FTP access or the site name. Could you guys helps us without which.

Hi,
we weren’t able to reproduce your issue. We tested various situations wit different browsers, but the cart does not get empty.
