My shop is located in the Netherlands. So I have to calculate tax for customers from Europe.
Problem:
Tax and Total prices are not updated when entering or changing the country.
When the country value (list) is changed the tax and total prices are not recalculated correctly.
This is what I did:
Installed completely new WordPress 4.0 site (no plug-ins), see video, all had to be activated!
Installed newest WP E-Commerce plug-in
Installed the newest Shoppica theme.
Added 2 products to the WP E-Commerce.
Added these products to the checkout.
With the default theme the tax and total prices are correctly updated when changing the Country value, with the Shoppica theme not. Only are a manual page refresh the values are updated.
This is very problematic because customers see wrong values and do not trust the site anymore.

Hello,
We are working for solution on this problem. But our suggestion is to migrate to Woocommerce plugin, because WP E-commerce is curently very bugy.

I understand and value your advice for migrating to WooCommerce, but at this moment this is not an option. At this moment a migration is not possible.
Perhaps in the future.

I took your advice and switched to Woocommerce.
For me, this problems needs not to be solved anymore.
