Documentation for the Shoppica 2

Hi –

I purchased this theme a few weeks ago. I was hoping to get the documentation that spells out the size of the banners and help with the layouts so that i can get my banners started. Thank you.

Hi,

The maximum width of Intro slides and Shoppica banners is 920px. The height is up to you.

You can check the documentation, which is included in the theme package.

I am unable to find documentation that talks about the banner sizes. Where is the demo admin page? May be i can look at your banner settings. Thanks

The banner section is restricted. All i need is the default banner sizes and i can go from there. You told me the size of the main banner on the front page. What about the 4 banners halfway down the main page.

Hi,

The 4 small banners are 220 x 140 pixels, but you can put e.g 3 banners 300 x 140 pixels.

Generally, there are no limitations about the size of the banners. If the total width of the banners goes more than the website width, then the last banner goes on a new line.

Hi –

I tried the banner sizes. Please see this link and kindly let me know what am i doing wrong.

Why are the three banners not aligned in the same row in the bottom. Also, i tried to add the same banners using the Shoppica 2 module, and it did not work either. The banner size increased in the bottom almost the same size as the main banner.

Please help.

Hi chaudhrysohail

I don’t know why it’s not showing all right at your end, but I will tell you what I’ve done at my end and you can see it’s showing all right: http://www.aczesorios.com (please note it’s still an ongoing development!!)

1.) At OC’s admin panel, choose Extensions>Modules>Shoppica2CP …. Edit, then choose BANNERS on the left column, add a new banner set and name it (f.e. HOMEPAGE).

2.) Add images -in my case, four of them each 220x155px

That’s it!.

The last banner is on a new row, because it is 350 pixels wide. It should be maximum 300 pixels wide.
