Drop Down Menu Ordering

In the header menu, the drop down sub-categories sorts itself like this by default:

A B
C D
E F

Is there an easy way to switch the sorting to the way Opencart defaults for this drop down? Below is what the Default OpenCart drop down would look like:

A D
B E
C F

Hi,

1) You can use the column-count css property. Unfortunately this is only a partial solutions, because this property is not supported in IE. We have discussed the partial solution here:

2) You can use some JS plugin that can split your list in columns. This could be a tricky task, while the submenu is hidden on page load. We have listed some plugins in this topic:
