Can't Install "Stylish" Theme for Pavilion 1.5xx on localhost

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

I purchased Pavilion for OpenCart and have successfully installed Opencart 1.5xx on my local computer. I have been able to install the Pavilion theme and modify it, but there is no where to activate or install the “Stylish” theme.

The main (home) page has the light blue, wide Fire Slider, and still displays the “Buy Theme Now” buttons on all the pages. I have mostly replicated the Header section of the Stylish theme, but it’s taking too long. I should be able to install the Stylish theme.

I have tried the installation on 2 different computers, installed the Sample Data for a Demo Store, but have had no luck.

Please advise.

Hi,

Unfortunately somehow the sample data was damaged with the latest update (1.0.1). The settings for Stylish and Shoppica skin have been mixed.

We’ve now submitted a new update that fixes these issues and hopefully it will be available later today or tomorrow (it is up to ThemeForest).

Once it is ready to download, we will add an announcement here in the forums.

I purchased the Pavilion for the Stylish Theme only. Do you have another form of the theme, such as WordPress, or Magento that would work for Stylish? If so, please let me know how I can download it. I don’t have the time to wait for an update in the future.

Thank you.

Hi,

The update is already available. You can download it from your TF account and reinstall Pavilion. Stylish skin can be now imported normally.

I have successfully installed the “Stylish” Them, but:

1. When I try to save changes through the Pavilion Control Panel, the “Save Settings” indicator just spins.

2. If I re-click to open the Control Panel, it saves ONE Change, I can then view it in my browser, but when I come back and open the Control Panel box that was just changed… The settings are all set back to “0″ or the Default setting.

Please help.

Hi,

We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

This is while working on the site in “localhost” on my own computer.

When I first installed the theme, it seemed to be saving changes sometimes, and other times it would just spin.

Now the “Save Changes” just keeps spinning.

I won’t put the site online until I can work out the problems.

We have also recently released new Pavilion version 1.1. Can you try to update to see if your issue is resolved ?

If not we have somehow to reproduce this issue in order to fix it. Can you share a little bit more about your local environment – OS (windows, linux), server package (wamp, xamp) and the local site url and port (ex. http://localhost:8080/pavilion/).

Thanks for your patience.

I am using the new 1.1 version that was just released, since I couldn’t load the “Stylish” theme with the earlier version.

I’m on Windows 8.1 with WAMP Server for PHP and using http://localhost/admin/index.php for the Back End/Control Panel access. It has worked with everything else I have worked on before.

I have both OpenCart 1.5 and the Pavilion Them installed in the Root Folder, so I view the theme’s Homepage, (index.php) at: http://localhost/index.php.

Hopefully that helps??

Please, note that 1.1.0 version was released today. Could you please check your admin panel just to make sure your version is 1.1.0 and not 1.0.1 (they are totally different). If it is 1.0.1 could you make the effort to update because we fixed several compatibility issues there.

Also, thanks for the supplied information. It will help us to recreate your environment so we can test if the same issue appears. We’ll just wait you to confirm your Pavilion version.

Where in the Admin Panel would I find the Version? I don’t see it.

I just uninstalled it and re-installed the version on my “Downloads” page on Envato / ThemeForest.

It still won’t save after the first couple times. It just keeps spinning.

Is there another link to make sure I have the newest version?? This was named exactly the same as both earlier versions I downloaded.

Thanks.

The theme version is always visible in the Pavilion control panel

It is 1.1.0 in the above image. Which is yours ?

I have been working with Version 1.1.0.

I also tried it on my other computer from a fresh re-install of both OpenCart 1.5 and Pavilion 1.1.0 and it seems to save the first change, then when I go back and try, for example, to set a Color Background for the Header, when I save it, the Color saves, but the Margin changes I had made in the earlier save are gone. (all back to 0)

Then after a couple saves, it just starts spinning when I try to save something. (The spinning is when I try to save in the Control Panel, not the Save in each Element, which works… Until I try to make another change in that Element, then I lose earlier saved settings.)
