Errors when upgraded from 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.3.1 – have also upgraded Shopp theme

Hi all – great theme.

Have encountered a couple of probs when I have upgraded here.

Followed all the steps (switched to default, upgraded OC to 1.5.3.1 successfully tested etc)
Then I uploaded the Shoppica (v1) files for 1.5.3.1 that I freshly downloaded again

All seems fine except when I get to the checkout page the following errors occur

1) IF checkout as a new registering user – the regions field does not populate. Its blank – so the user cannot choose anything and therefore cannot proceed.

2) IF check is as a guest the following errors pops up:
SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character

OK

Notice: Undefined index: company_id in /home/users/uksxxx/html/xxx.co.uk/catalog/controller/checkout/guest.php on line 269Notice: Undefined index: tax_id in /home/users/uksxxx/html/xxx.co.uk/catalog/controller/checkout/guest.php on line 270[]

These errors do not occur when I switch back to default and test guys??

The catalog/view/theme/shoppica/template/checkout files are for OpenCart 1.5.2.1 and they cause your issues.
It seems you have uploaded the OpenCart_v.1.5.2.1 folder, which is inappropriate for OpenCart 1.5.3.1. Please, be sure to upload to corresponding Shoppica folder – OpenCart_v.1.5.3.1.
