Hello.
I had a perfectly working OCart2 with with Pavilion up until this past weekend. The site now shows the following error:
Warning: include_once(/home/sarongi/public_html/catalog/controller/common/tb_themes.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: Too many open files in /home/sarongi/public_html/system/storage/modification/system/engine/action.php on line 39Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/sarongi/public_html/catalog/controller/common/tb_themes.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/sarongi/public_html/system/storage/modification/system/engine/action.php on line 39
I can confirm that nobody changed anything on the site to cause this, and that the site was working perfectly on Friday 22nd.
I have been in contact with the hosting company and they claim that nothing in the hosting environment has changed at all. They are blaming the software, so here I am looking for assistance.
Please let me know if more information is needed.

Can you try to temporally change the theme to the default one to see if your issue is gone ?
|

Unfortunately I can’t get into admin either, so no.

Hi,
We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.
You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi.
Information as requested.
Please let me know what country you will be connecting from on FTP so I can allow via FTP Access Control.

We have inspected your configuration and it seems to be unrelated to our software. The site won’t load regardless of which theme is enabled. When trying to access the admin folder the errors come from the OpenCart core files, which has nothing to do with any theme.
It appears that some script or third party software makes your system run out of file handles and hit the server limitations as suggested when you search for similar issues.
The easiest fix is to restart your server, the hardest is to find which application is causing the issue. We can only confirm that it’s not Pavilion’s fault.

Thanks for the feedback.
The only other aftermarket extension installed is excelport. Is there a way of disabling this extension without access to the admin section?
I know this has nothing to do with Themeburn, but if you could point me in the right direction, I would be indebted.

Uninstalling extensions would not help you as the web server is blocked and needs restart. You should ask your hosting provider to restart the server.

Understood, thanks.
Will this mean that in a few days time it’ll happen all over again?
|
|
Yes, there is a chance to happen again if the cause is not eliminated. Could also be some operating system problem or VPS limitaion, so it’s better to try one more time.
Frankly, we encounter such an issue for the first time, so can’t really give insights into it.
