Hello,
I too have this error when I try to go to a category page after loading the demo data. How can this be fixed?
Note: The error goes away when the “Products” system block is removed from the “All Categories” content area in the Burn Engine layout builder, but then no products display on a category page.

Clicking save in the ‘style’ and ‘colors’ sections in the Burn Engine control panel seems to have fixed this error.

While saving theme colors will fix this problem, we would like to know why it is appearing at first place.

we were able to install the theme’s demo data without an issue. Can’t really reproduce the above error.
