About the Jetpack problem, please contact Jetpack Support or Hosting provider.

Also this can be conflict with another plugins, but we support only problems with the theme.

I got this sorted. Just updating in case anyone has the same problem.

There was some kind of conflict with WP-eCommerce. I deactivated WPEC and reactivated jetpack and it worked fine. Then i reactivated WPEC and it worked fine.

Strange but true.
