Featured Products thumbnail size

I was wondering why the Featured Product thumbnail size, when I use it on the Home page, is cropped on the top and bottom and cuts off the image? Maybe I’m missing something but I am using the Featured Image option when adding products and then I adjusted the Default Product Image sizes options in the WPEC Store settings. So the product image looks fine on the Product page thumbnail but when I use the Latest or Featured options on a page the same product image has the top and bottom cut off. Is there an easy way to change this without messing with the code?

I guess the easiest solution would be to save images as a square.
