Guest Checkout Error – OpenCart 1.5.4 & Shoppica 2.1.4 ‘Undefined variable: entry_account’

ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesShoppica OpenCart ThemeGuest Checkout Error – OpenCart 1.5.4 & Shoppica 2.1.4 ‘Undefined variable: entry_account’

This topic has been marked as resolved.

On step 2 of the guest checkout process there is an error where company type should be.

This error does not occur on ‘create an account’ checkout.  I am on the newest version of OpenCart & Shoppica.  Installed today (8/28/2012).

Thanks for your help.

Note that we installed OpenCart 1.5.3 then upgraded it through our bluehost account (after we saw that there is a new version of Shoppica). Then we installed the newest version of shoppica.

I mean Shoppica 2.2.0 not 2.1.4

Open catalog/view/theme/shoppica2/template/checkout/guest.tpl and change

<?php echo $entry_account; ?>
with

<?php echo $entry_customer_group; ?>

Do we all need to do this? Is this an error with the theme?

I would say check your guest checkout and see if you see the problem. If so then apply the fix. Very easy to do.

Thanks. Does themeburn even answer support questions? So irritating. I asked some questions yesterday and got no response.
today I’m having issues with the control panel on a live site.
Regretting purchasing anything through themeforest.

@theblue30

Can you please, explain a bit more? You have tried to remove some field? Or you have applied the fix from the post above and still got a warning message?

We may need to take a look at your website too.

Best,
ThemeBurn team
