I was able to figure out that my site was shut down because to many calls are being made on the index.php file. That part is solved. I have disabled all Vqmods that effect the site header and footer files. I am stilling having problems with my site. Can you Help me.

None of the errors from your log is related to Shoppica. It seems your site is heavily modified, because Shoppica 2 just can’t have these types of errors:

PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_HOST in /home/k4sell12/public_html/catalog/view/theme/shoppica2/template/common/footer.tpl on line 190
PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_HOST in /home/k4sell12/public_html/catalog/view/theme/shoppica2/template/tb/menu.tpl on line 82

These notices are caused by some custom code of yours, but they are not the cause for the high CPU usage. They are also pretty harmless, so you could ignore them for now.
As for the PHP Warning: unlink... error – it is most likely caused because your site is too busy combined with the weak possibilities of the server.

The performance of Shoppica 2 matches the default opencart performance with not more than 5% difference, so I guess you would have the same issues with the default opencart theme. Your site gets just too many requests for the hosting plan you have chosen – the server just can handle them.

Write a personal email to us and we will send you an experimental cache extension for Shoppica, so you can test if it makes the situation better for you.

We sent you an email. Billions request to your site would ruin almost every kind of web script – regardless opencart, wordpress or magento.

Hello there, we have just had the same issue with our hostgator account. Can you send us a link to the “experimental cache extension for Shoppica” please? Hostgator are refusing to reenable our account until we can prove that it wont take such high CPU usage?

Thanks,

Hi,

It is normally that bots are still checking missing pages. Once a page is crawled (and indexed), you will need some time the search engine mark it as missing and remove it from the index.
