How do I customize the product page (footer, etc.)?

I’m trying to customize the individual Products page, and add/edit features below the product information, just like in the Live Preview version (I want to edit and add info below the Description/Review box, like here):

For example, the default has “Related Products” set up, but I want to edit or remove that. I have no idea where to do this; it’s not on each individual product page and I assume that there is a “template” of some type I need to locate. If I try to use the Visual Composer, it just adds the content inside of the description box, but I want it at the bottom of the page. I’ve looked everywhere, is there something I’m missing?

Hello,

With visual composer you can edit only information inside the Description box.

If you want to put something under this box, you have to edit the template.

Which plugin you are using WP E-commerce or Woocommerce?

Thanks for the quick reply. To answer your question, I’m using the WP E-Commerce plugin.

How do I edit the template to make it look more like the example site? Thanks :)

Hi,

What you want to add under the Description box, maybe we can help?

Also we will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

I’d like to add a footer with links, something I can customize. I also want to edit the “Related Products” area so that it only shows four products.

Hello,

Add widgets to your Footer & Shop Area Zone and they will appear as in our demo store.

Number of the related products can be set from Theme Options.

I know where to go to get to the widgets (Appearance > Widgets), but I don’t know which footer to use (there are four of them). I also see widgets that say “Shop Info”, is that the same as “Shop Zone” as you mentioned in your reply?

Also, none of the widgets have the existing “Related Products” section in them, just like my current template shows, so I don’t know where to go to edit it. None of these settings are in the Theme Options, either.

Oh, thank you! I was completely overlooking the “Related Products” area in the Theme Options. And thanks for the explanation for the footer, too. I understand now and you answered my question.
