How to add an accordion to a page

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

I am trying to create a FAQ page and I would like to use the vertical accordion function for this, but I can’t see how to do this.

I have set up an information page called frequently asked questions and added an accordion to this page using the page builder, but when I save this and go to the FAQ page, the page is blank.

Can you please give me some guidance on the correct way to set this type of page up?

Thank you,

Tom

Hello Tom,

Can you give your website url and admin access, so we can check what have you done?

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

I am still developing the site at the moment and have it in maintenance mode, with a “Website under development” message on the index page.

Thanks,

Hi Tom,

We’ve made an example accordion for you. You can check Pavilion CP > Page Builder > Content > Informatin: Frequently Asked Questions.

Hello,

Thanks for that, but I’m still having a problem with this.

You set up three sample questions in the FAQ and I am able to edit the title for the topic, but there isn’t anywhere I can see where I can edit the dummy text you inserted into these for the answers to the questions.

Also, I have added my own additional questions, but thses are not showing on the FAQ page – only the three you set up can be seen.

Can you please advise me what I can do to deal with these issues.

Thanks,

Hi,

Please check the attached screenshot:

1) You need to click on the green plus button

2) You will then need to drag a text block for each accordion. Or you can duplicate existing text block. Each content block that is dragged inside the tabs/accordion block will be a new tab/accordion section on the store frontend.

3) Edit each one of the text blocks contents. Leave the block title field empty.

These are the basic steps :)
