Hello,
I want to style a category menu item, exactly like the “Buy Theme” button is styled in shoppica.net

I tried to hardcode it in /catalogue/controller/modules/shoppica.php and indeed it worked, however i had a couple of problems

a) on hover the styling obviously changes. On hover out, the would not get the style from the new css class i created, but from the original one..I suppose this is done through Javascript, however the js code is too big and have no idea where to look for it.

b) i have two languages installed. Hardcoding it won’t give me a solution, cause it was only in one language.

Bottom line, i would very much appreciate it if someone could help style a specific menu item (and only one, not all of them) exactly like the “Buy Theme” button in shoppica.net. It doesn’t have to be a background image, it can be background color no problem and i don’t mind implementing any method supposed.

Thank you very much

Hi,

Here is the topic, how to style a category, or a button in the way you want: http://support.themeburn.com/topic/how-to-create-green-button-buy-theme

Here is a topic, how to add each top level category a unique ID. You could use this ID to style the menu item (as described in the previous topic): http://support.themeburn.com/topic/2-categories-in-another-color-in-the-menu

You will need to register in order to post topics and read replies in the ThemeBurn.com support forums!

Hope, we have helped.

Best,
