How to move the Home button to the header

This topic has been marked as resolved.

If this is covered elsewhere I apologize in advance for not finding it.

In my implementation of shoppica I am not using anything in the menu bar located under the header. So all I have left in it is the “Home” button, which I have change to be text instead of an icon (thanks to a post I found here).

My question is how can I move the “Home” link to the header section? I want to have the banner (set to “top of content”) snug up against the line seperating the header from content portion of the page. Right now the “Home” link is on the far left creating a lot of wasted space between them.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Al

Hi Al,

We will need to have a look at your website, so we could help. Could you provide a screenshot as well, with the exact place you want the button at.

Best,
ThemeBurn team

It is currently being built and is locked in maintenance mode. Here is a screenshot, and I have marked the old and new locations.

EDIT – I changed the screenshot picture to a high resolution jpg.

Thank You,
Al

Hi,

I applied the suggested changes and all it did was move the banner closer to the “Home” link. I have attached 2 jpgs, one with code applied and one without. I used Chrome’s inspect element feature to show you the relevant code portion of screen.css.

Thanks,
Al
