How to remove a meta generator tag (Pavilion 1.2.6) ?
This is important for security reasons hide or remove meta generator.
I also checked your demo theme and generator meta tag is not exist in your demo website.

This meta tag can be removed from: 

catalog/view/theme/pavilion/template/common/header.tpl
