Image on productpage

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hello,

I have a question about the main productpage image.

In opencart we can set the default product image dimensions.

For example: 500 x 600 px.

When the real image is for example only 400 x 500 px, the image display mechanisme used by Pavillion (and also by opencart) is displaying the resized image 500 x 600 px. This looks realy bad.

Instead we need the original image (and dimensions) from 400 x 500px.

I have bought an extension for this, but this is what the maker of the extensions have wrote me:
I’m sorry to say that your theme uses very complicated image display mechanisms. Its nearly impossible to change it not to use image dimensions here. It will stretch the image to product thumb specified size anyway.

My question is: Can you make this happen? That when a image is smaller than the default product image settings Pavillion is using the original image – without any resizing.

I really hope this is possible.

Best regards, Ultimatia

Hi,

Generally, Pavilion uses default variables and we do not modify image dimensions in product page. The only thing we modify is the markup for the gallery.

Can you send the extension, so we can check, what exactly it modifies.

Thanks,
