This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Hi guys,

Few problems while importing your sample data to wordpress woocommerce;

1. Footer is stacked on top of eachother instead of aligned horizontally look: http://d.pr/i/Vl2e

2. Some shortcodes don’t work and the slider is not animated and shows all slides at once : http://d.pr/i/iNNY

3. I don’t see the products on the home page in the way that you guys have it on your sample website..

Please help me asap

Hi,

We will need the website url and admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Like someone else mentioned, most of it was fixed when I changed from woocommerce to wp e commerce. It sucks that I had to do that, though considering this is promoted under woocommerce as well???

My major problem right now is that all the layer sliders load at once, why? http://d.pr/i/4mXR . Admin access will be difficult since you need to change your host file to view it.

Hello,

1) For each column in footer there is different widget zone.

2) Use Visual Composer shortcode instead of LayerSlider shortcodes.

3) We see you found how to add them, also we added intro to your Homepage (Layer Slider).

4) Woocommerce is working much better than WP E-commerce, so we its better to use it, and nothing from your previous questions are caused from Woocommerce.

5) Your thumbnail is small because you have to set thumbnail size from WPEC options.

Please check documentation, how to configure your theme.

Then still, the issue with the cart can’t be explained. For some reason it is simply not animated. If you press ‘add to cart’ no popup appears to the right side of the screen. Additionally, the cart does not refresh.

Woocommerce working better? When it was installed the shop did not even display. and the homepage, regardless of what I did, became a singular product.

My issues have become entirely different now, I got woocommerce to work but

1. I can’t get the featured products to work on the front page, they simply don’t display while they are marked as featured.

2. I am not able to put anything in the sidebar, it simply doesn’t show up if I place something in the sidebar widget?

3. Related products aren’t showing below each individual product, while they were working in wp e-commerce.

Please help!

Hello,

Do you use any kind of import for the products?

The problems are coming from this, and if you open product in admin and only update it, everything is working fine with it.

Oh my… You are right. Can you somehow find out why everything breaks when there’s a CSV file import of products? I’d pay money for that..

Aside from that inquiry I have another done. How do I create the shop page the same way you guys did it? It can’t be made in the visual editor unfortunately. You guys have:

1. Nice feature on top
2. price selection in sidebar
3. nicely arrange shop below

But how? If we import the data that does not happen.

Now another problem appeared. Product variations like Size and Color don’t show on the product page itself. Can you explain how I do that?

Please… I’m very appreciative of your help.

Hi,

1) We will check how we can handle imported products and let you know.

2) You have to add widgets to Products page widget area.

3) Check here how to add product variations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ebvlj5ax_A
