Error: List view in Shoppica 1.0.12??

Hi

I have just installed shoppica on both the live site and local dev site and get the following error when switchting to list view on any products page:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function utf8_substr() in F:\…….\catalog\view\theme\shoppica\template\product\category.tpl on line 164

List view on the live site doesn’t work in the same way although it doesn’t list the error on the live site as it does above – suspect it is the same.

The live site is http://www.cardcreationsplus.co.uk.php5-24.dfw1-2.websitetestlink.com/Software/Card-Crafting (still in build stage)

Any suggestions?

I have added an illustration of this error. Still got the error when switching to view products in list view:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function utf8_substr() in F:\Cardcreationsplus-opencart\catalog\view\theme\shoppica\template\product\category.tpl on line 164

Can anyone help??

Hi,

it appears you are using an old opencart version. I recommend you do update to the latest opencart version or at least to 1.5.1.3.
If this is not an option for you, open catalog/view/theme/shoppica/template/product/category.tpl and replace utf8_substr with substr on row 164.
