managing Intro size and padding

Hi,

where can I reduce the size of the Intro of the shoppica theme?

I’d like to add a Uno Slider to my startpage featuring full size images but I’d like to reduce the height of the intro. Does the intro have to have the same dimensions as the slider images?
Furthermore I’ve got a problem with the padding on the top of my slider. How can I get that up and running?

Here is all you need to access my backend (just in case):

Thx, flofe

Hi,

The intro section is placed on the whole website width and expands in height, depending on the dimensions of the slideshow that is setup to show there. This applies for Simple image slider, Layerslider and Unoslider.

When using one of these, you should limit your slideshow images to 940px width so they can fit nicely. You can also choose the “No Padding” option for a full width intro that overlaps the section background, but then you will have to use 1000px wide images.

Hope this explains how the intro works.

P.S. When we tried to check your website it didn’t load any styles. Please rename the theme folder to “shoppica”.

Thanks, I’ll try that.
I renamed the theme folder now to “shoppica” and suddenly I can’t load the styles in Firefox. It works fine in IE. What happened???

Hi,

I’ve now changed the size of the slider images to 1000px width and chose “No padding” in the theme options but still the green border from the section background doesn’t disappear (pls see attached caption for reference).

By the way: Before that I’ve also tried 940px but this kept a green border also on the sides…

What can I do?

Thx, flofe
