This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi Wondering if I can replace or add menu items to the categories menu at the top of shoppica them. I see there are extra items in the demo such as information so how do i add extra pages to that menu.

trying to find the template for:
document->shoppica_categories; ?>

but can’t seem to find it!

Any help given is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Take a look at this “how to” topic: http://support.themeburn.com/topic/modify-main-menu-add-new

It explains about what you want to do.

I actually saw that post. I don’t think this is what I am looking for though. If I do edit the shopping information file it doesn’t do anything. I want to add items to the top menu next to the categories and home button and editing that file does not do that.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi,

I want to add items to the top menu next to the categories and home button

The topic we gave you is exactly about the things you want to do. You can use the information pages to insert menus after shop categories.

By default, categories in OpenCart are only 2 levels deep. To show all the categories in the main menu, we are generating them directly from the theme controller. That is why there is no template.

I figured it out. It turns out information tab was not enabled in the settings. Thanks!
