Multi Languages and Carousel

We have problems to make multilingual, shoppica and clean urls all work together.
It’s hard to explain but it seems that your carousel update the Language cookie to our websites default (french).

berceau.leonarddg.net/en/
You can see that it’s in English, but if you click any link in the main menu, you find yourselves in french on the next load (despite the / en / in the URL).

The problem does not exist if the carousel is disabled …

Hi,

Carousel banners have single url for all languages, so no matter the selected language you will go to the same page.

E.g. if you have these two pages for French and English:

http://site.com/page.html
http://site.com/en/page.html

and you have for your banner link this url:

http://site.com/page.html

you will always go to the French page.

If your pages have similar urls you can try to use relative banner urls instead (without the slash exactly as follows):

page.html
