new, clear install but problem!

I have made a new, fresh, clean install, i used the latest version of both opencart and shoppica, but i receive the following error:

Hi,

We are receiving the same sort of errors. We have just upgraded from Opencart 1.5.1 to 1.5.4.1 and installed Shoppica v2 We now have a list of errors in the error log including:

PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_intro_banner
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_rightColumnEmpty
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_column_position
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_product_listing_type
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_text_grid
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_text_list
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_text_wishlist
PHP Notice: Undefined property: Document::$shoppica_text_compare

We are also receiving the below error which maybe related but on the other hand maybe not:

The overall website seems to be working correctly, however these errors are worrying me a little. Can you please point me in the correct direction to get these sorted.

@blademultimedia, these errors come from Shoppica 1 installation. You have mixed up the two versions somehow. Check the docs again, please. Make sure you replaced all of the files when uploading Shoppica 2 and the you have updated the index.php file properly.

Hi,

I have completely disabled the original Shoppica v1 and all elements relating to it including banners, etc. I still seem to be getting an error….

I have completely overwritten the files again and added the index.php from the shoppica download.

If you could dawn some light it would be appreciated.

@blademultimedia,

send us ftp access, if possible. It is certainly an improper installation problem, which is related somehow to Shoppica 1, but we cannot figure it out from the error log only.

We removed Shoppica 1 files completely, but we weren’t able to delete the /public_html/catalog/view/theme/shoppica/ folder. Please, remove it through your CP or ask your hosting administrators to do it. The shoppica 1 related errors may have been generated by some search bots, using older urls (before the Shoppica 2 update).

If you receive this notice again:

PHP Notice: Error: Could not load template /home/godfreyj/public_html/catalog/view/theme/shoppica/template/product/shoppica_brand_category.tpl! in /home/godfreyj/public_html/system/engine/controller.php on line 102

please, share with us the url, which invokes it. We weren’t able to produce such an error by browsing in your site.

As for the following notice: 

PHP Notice:  Undefined index: banner_id in /home/godfreyj/public_html/catalog/controller/module/banner.php on line 13
