Warning!

New Installation v2.1.2 Extensions and Store page problems.

Warning!
You see this message because Shoppica 2 is not properly installed/configured. This happens usually due one (or more) of the following reasons:

1. You have not installed the Shoppica 2 module. Please, go to admin panel, enter Extensions -> Modules, find ‘Shoppica 2 CP’ and click ‘install’.

2. You have not properly updated your index.php file. It should contain these two lines (near the end):

// TB
$controller->dispatch(new Action(‘common/tb’, array(‘front’ => $controller)), new Action(‘error/not_found’));

3. You have not replaced the opencart core files (system/engine/controller.php and catalog/model/setting/extension.php) with these provided with the Shoppica package.

Hi,

The warning message, gives you the three possible reasons, why you haven’t installed properly Shoppica and what you should do.

You can also refer to the documentation > installation again. Documentation files can also be found online here: http://shoppica2.com/docs/#!/installation

Hi,

Have you tried to reinstall the theme?

Otherwise, we will need admin access and your ftp so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

We see that share features (tweet, facebook like and addthis buttons) have been disabled successfully.

We are not sure we understand, what the exact problem is. Can you, please, attach a screenshot, so we could be most helpful?

And what do you mean by “the default website that came with Opencart v1.5.4.1 is gone”?

Hi,

1) You can control all footer widgets (shop info, contacts, twitter, facebook) from the theme co. You can find them in Shoppica 2 CP > Footer

2) On the demo you can see both Shoppica 1 & 2 modules. That is why your admin panel has less modules.

3) Generally Shoppica does not alter the feedback form. Is this problem happening when you use the default theme? This could also be a problem non related to OpenCart.

Hi,

1) To use the Facebook like box, you need to insert your Facebook page ID. Here is a blog post that will help you to take it:

http://rieglerova.net/how-to-get-a-facebook-fan-page-id/

2) To show Latest tweets, you just need your use your twitter username.

3) If you experience problems with the default theme too, then the problem is not related with Shoppica. There could be some problem with the server configuration.
