Newb with installation problems

ThemeBurn SupportForumsWordPress ThemesShoppica WordPress ThemeNewb with installation problems

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi guys

Sorry, I am not very WP code savvy. So here is probably a very stupid question.

I have tried both uploading the package via FTP AND through wordpress but each time I am getting:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Name Description
shoppica Stylesheet is missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Please extract your zip file, then extract shoppica zip and upload shoppica folder to your themes folder.

Thanks! I did sort it but forgot to close the question.

I am having issues with woocommerce 2.0 – I know you have said there will be an update soon?

Is there anyway to override or go back to the older version?

Product pages:

Thanks

Hello,

Delete your woocommerce 2.0 plugin and install woocommerce 1.6

This will do the trick

Sorry to sound like a complete idiot – but I downloaded woocommerce 1.6 – it’s a big folder – do I need to upload this via ftp, and if so – where does it sit in the folders. Or do I need to find 1.6 as a plugin?

Thanks for your response!

Hi,

Woocommerce patch is already uploaded on ThemeForest, download it from your account and update your theme.

Hello

I can’t find this anywhere on the Themeforest site. Can you send a link? I’m really not sure where or how I go about updating the theme like you said.

I also have one other query, in terms of the home page logo, this is constantly changing sizes to work with the size of the site – is there anyway to stop this from happening on web browsers?

my site is at:

Thanks

Hi,

Do you want the logo to be that big? If not resize the image first and then add it to Theme Options.

To download latest version of theme log in to TF account, and download theme.

Hi

I have resized the logo ad uploaded and reuploaded. It always seems to change size drastically with different size web pages.

Thanks, will download the theme again now. (Will that reformat everything when I upload?)

Hi,

We are going to upload another patch later today, which will be available tomorrow we hope. There is fixed some bugs from Woocommerce 2.0.2

Could you send website url and admin access so we can check about the logo.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

I’m having the same trouble–and am fairly wordpress illiterate. Where do I find the patch? Do I just download the theme again, and install it? Do I need to back up my files before I do this? Hold my hand, guys. I’m really new to this.

Wordpress is also giving me a nice, big, purple warning telling me that my theme “does not declare WooCommerce support” I would believe them, except that I had a customer attempt to purchase something yesterday and they were unable. Sadface.

Thanks, guys!

@ladylaurenlovesonline – We didn`t encounter any problem with the logo, maybe your browser resize it because its too big.

@staceyrebecca – Go to your Themeforest account and download theme again, backup your current theme and upload new one, this will do the trick. Woocommerce purple warning will hide :)

Thanks guys!

Is there a way to do a backup that I’m not seeing on my dashboard? (again, extremely wordpress illiterate)

Thanks guys, updated an all errors are gone. Just need to fix that logo, I will try different sizes though :)

@staceyrebecca I Did it in THEME OPTIONS tab, there is a backup and restore section in there.

Thanks ThemeBurn Team :)
