For the store I’m setting up I will need to have visitors enter in text for a message. This is very important for the store. So I go to the Product page and check the box for
“Personalisation Options:
Users can personalize this Product by leaving a message on single product page”
Unfortunately, no option is shown on the website. So I figured I’d do some searching and I found a plugin WPEC Personalize by Derek Weathersbee and the custom text field now shows up under the Description tab but then nothing shows up in the sales logs in the admin panel. There is no Users Custom Fields section.
To make sure this was not user error, I set up a test wordpress site and did not load the shoppica theme and just wp ecommerce. When I do that is does work. Even with the Derek plugin.
Is there some coding that does not allow for people to add a message for the product? basically I just need a way for people to include a personal message with the product they order. Is this possible?

I also need this, this is a do or die for my website as one of my major products purchased requires Custom Input from the customer.
Please implement this!! I simply cannot use this theme without it!

Here is the solution:
You will need to register in order to post topics and read replies in the ThemeBurn.com support forums! On the products you have enabled Personalisation Options will appear a textarea.

Thanks. Nice quick fix. That appears to be working now when I do a test order. Oh, and I added it after the :
?php endif; ?
at line 322
so that it shows under the Variation selections. I don’t see any problems but just want to make sure if you ran into problems in your tests with placement. And to let others that may have variation options for their products know that they can place it here if they want the text box to appear after people choose a color, or size, or whatever.
