please help, The Internal server error after try to edit the comment box in checkout shipping and payment step

I try to hiding the checkout comment box in shipping and payment step by add the php comment (/* */)in php controller file at the line that relate to comment box and the html comment () in tpl file too but it show the error message like can’t find some variable that need so I’ve go back to remove the comment in all the php and tpl file that I ‘ve add but finally I get the Internal server error alert box and the checkout process now stop at the shipping step.

now my shop ‘s website can’t process the error cause by this problem.

so Please help me, or any suggestion to make my shop’s web become working again.

More information about my error.

It’s look like the comment text in comment box was not clear out after the session was change. It still showing old comment after I try to logout and close browser tab (chrome) and re open and re login , I don’t know if this normaly or not.

Still can’t fix this check out error, Could someone help me please ?

Hi every one.
I still don’t know what the cause of my problem, but it alraedy fixed now , I’ve restore the controller and template files from previous backup and it fine now.

Hi,

Why didn’t you just hide the comment row with css? This would be an easier modification than hacking core files.
