Hi, im using shoppica themes on my OC version 1.5.1.3 , after i’m enable SEO URL featured, my site goin dead slow, it tooks 12 second to load my homepage ! (Sometimes its show error : reached entry process limit)

I’ve been searching and try to resolve this problem for a week, include install additional extension and contact my hosting server support but nothing work. And today, i’m curious this is about themes issue so i change my themes into default. The result is my site run blazing fast even SEO URL featured is enable !

I wanted to know if this is an issue of shoppica themes ? Can you fix this things up ? My site : Netoneshop.com (but right now i’m didnt enable SEO URL featured so its running normally). I have 600 product and 350 category.

I can provide you with ftp access so you can check this by yourself.

Waiting for your reply. Thanks before.

regards,

Robby

@yohaneskurniadi – sorry for the late reply. Your question is not ignored, we are just too busy and the support queue is slowed down. As we noted in our support policy, such a situation is not excluded, though we try our best to avoid it.

Shoppica 1 for OC 1.5.1.3 is not supported for a long time. Anyway, Shoppica 1 had known performance issues when you have many categories and you enable SEO Url on a weak hosting, but these issues were resolved with Shoppica 2. Sadly they can’t be fixed by just changing several files or lines of code. An upgrade to Shoppica 2 is needed. The other possibility is not to use shared hosting, but a more powerful solution (for example VPS).

Thanks for the reply,

So the only one solution is upgrade to Shoppica 2 and i have to upgrade my Opencart version to 1.5.3.1 ? Ok i’ll try it :(

I wanted to know how to export my database (ex : my product & category) from OC 1.5.1.3 to OC 1.5.3.1 , because i just cant export it straightly, the database table and structure a bit different. Do you have a trick about this ?

You don’t have to re-import the products. You need to upload the new opencart and then run install again. It will upgrade the database. Check this link for more information.

Hello, i’ve done upgrade my site into shoppica 2.

First look, everythings is OK even i enable SEO url, but sometimes the entry process still reach high number 30/40 (but it work better than shoppica 1 which reach max entry process everytime). The problem not much longer, only 4-5 minute and the entry process going low again. But this problem can occure 7-8 times a day.

Can you advice me more to get rid of this problem from SEO url ? Or my server just to slow ? (For your information i’m using business hosting from Namecheap – it cost over $200 a year – is it still not enough?)

Also, i’ve been asked for your cache plugin on here : http://support.themeburn.com/topic/site-very-slow/page/7 , please send me the file so i can check for a better performance of my site. Thanks a lot.

Waiting for your reply.
