Hello,

I am using Shoppica2 and I have check there is some problems when you use SEO. I also see this problems in your DEMO of shoppica2…

The problem is that if for example I add a product to the cart and then I change from product page to a category page (with SEO active) the cart value goes to 0. But if I go to the checkout I see the product there correctly.

So what I understand is that Opencart when SEO is activated on shoppica2 and you change from one category to other after adding something in the cart the value always go to 0. But is not cleaning the cart, just the value and the cart of the top appear as “empty”.

But if you go to a normal URL of the shop (anyone that is using in the link index.php?route=…) the cart appear perfectly always with the correct value.

Why is happening this?

I have the problem using:
- Last version of Opencart.
- SEO activated.
- Shoppica2 last version.
- Fatcow server.

And I see the same problem in your DEMO when for example I open the demo with a different internet explorer (like firefox… safari) have the same problems and after some minutes looks like the value is cached or something and appear correctly. However in my shop always appear incorrect.

Dont know if the problem is due to a cache problem, htaccess or what.

Anyone know any solution for this? I can’t use SEO with this issue :S.

Thank you.

Hi,

No matter how hard we’ve tried to provoke this bug, we haven’t succeeded yet.

Can you make some screencast, so we can see the exact steps. We will also need your website address, so we could test there.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hello,

The exact steps:

1. Enter in the shop. Add a product to the cart of Featured section for example.
2. Then go to any other category of the website (like Tablets for example).

Cart goes to value 0.

Same if you go to a product page and then you add the product to the cart and go out to any other category.

The only way when is working is if you go to any normal page without SEO for example My Account section.

The website is:

The problem is that my server some reason I dont know when SEO is activated is not reading correctly the cart value.

Thank you.

We’ve been able to reproduce the issue on your site, but this does not never happen on the Shoppica DEMO site. It is specific to your environment only. Can you change to the default theme and see if it works there ?

Hello,

on the default theme it works when you click on the cart.

Is very strange because with the old version of Opencart it was working fine… and I dont have any plugin installed.

Is just Opencart (last version) + Shoppica2 + SEO activated.

Any idea of what determines the value of the basket with SEO activated?

Maybe something related with php.ini? .htaccess? any shoppica/system file?

Hi,

The basket total uses a separate template and has no connection with SEO urls.

We’ve checked you website again and can’t provoke the bug anymore. Is the problem still active?
