Product Display Grid View/List View with paging from ‘Page’

ThemeBurn SupportForumsWordPress ThemesShoppica WordPress ThemeProduct Display Grid View/List View with paging from ‘Page’

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

I’m trying to figure out how to display the products I have in my WooCommerce site properly on an actual ‘page’ along with navigation options.

I want to show all the products of a certain category, along with the ‘paging’, ‘grid/list’ and ‘show’ navigation which is part of the standard WooCommerce navigation. Whilst this is possible if I setup the menu manager to point to a ‘product category’ menu item, it does not work if I use a real ‘page’ and shortcodes e.g.
[category_products category="soaps" pnumber="6" product_size="size_1" price_design="plain" price_size="3" width="1/1" el_position="first last"]

I need to use the page style because I want other information above the products.

This shortcode only allows you to specify an exact amount of products, not all of them, does not have any ‘per_page’ option like the WooCommerce shortcode does. If I use the WooCommerce shortcode the list is shown vertically and overlapping which is wrong too.

Any help appreciated.

I would like the page to work/display like http://shoppica-wordpress.com/products/computers/ or http://shoppica2.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=18 where there is copy and information above the grid view buttons and woo products.

Hello,

There is not shortcode that can do what you want. But you can add category image and description which will shop on top.

Thank you. I have reset the navigation menu item to point to the ‘category’ in question and added a description in Woo for that category. By adding a widget for ‘Product Category’ I can customise the sidebar content.

I still do not know how to show the category menu options / camera graphics underneath the body copy as per this link (http://shoppica2.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=18)

Hi,

We will need the website url and admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hello,

The problem was that you selected to show only products in Woocommerce -> Settings -> Catalog -> Shop Page Display.

We change to both products and categories and it is appearing now.
