I’ve encountered a small problem … the “Region” field (which is required) doesn’t display the regions when you click on it (even if the Country is selected). I personally don’t have a strong need for this field, so I wish to remove it (or at least make it “optional”, so that even if its not selected, the form works as it should and the customer can proceed).

Hi,

This problem is fixed in the latest Shoppica 2.1.1 version. You should update.

Hi,

I am using shoppica 2.1.2 (with OC 1.5.3.1) and my region drop down is not working. (no options hence = registration IMPOSSIBLE)

After clicking continue I get the following error message:
(…)catalog/controller/account/register.php on line 423

Also, I have noticed 3 new fields in the registration process which really… I wonder why you’ve added them:

Account: (dropdown says Default)
* Company ID:
* Tax ID:

These fields could totally be optional.

Looking intensively for a plugin compatible with Shoppica2 to make registration way easier. Lots of people sell digital goods today. Why all these required fields?

1) Maybe, you have done something wrong when upgrading? The region dropdown is fully functional in our latest version. Can we take a look at your website so we can tell you for sure?

2) The “Company ID” and “Tax ID” fields can be made optional from Admin > Sales > Customers > Customer groups.
