Remove h3 heading in navigation sub menu

Hi there, just trying to figure out how to remove the h3 heading inside the nav dropdown level 1. E.g. <h3>INSIDE XX</h3>

I can find where it’s output in template/common/header.tpl – but looks like some php is generating the rest from somewhere, just can’t find where. Thanks
