Hello.
I use Shoppica 2 on Opencart 1.5.4 and today I found out that the search engine is not working properly.
If I try to perform a search on the search box on the homepage, it will always say that “There is no product that matches the search criteria.”. However, if on this error page I search again the very same tag I searched before, then the system finds the items.
So making it short, the search doesn’t work from the search box on the top of the page. It only works if I type in on the error page that says there are no products.
How can I fix it?

This is an old OpenCart bug, which has been fixed with newer version. You can find the fix here:
