Dear developers and readers,

We have upgraded our website to this theme with woocommerce on wordpress which has been a successful project. Now however we’ve noticed a decline in purchase rates, somehow we choose to believe it’s due to the complexity of the way woocommerce processes the orders.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to simplify the buying experience using the woocommerce plugin? By simplify I mean to let the theme manage the cart and it’s contents and just send the client to paypal for payment. It seems that now our clients get scared by the amount of personal information they need to fill in to create an account / purchase an item, while paypal already has all the person data needed…

So we’ve installed PayPal Express module. However having the following issues:

1. Buttons are not aligned on the Cart page. Ultimately the PayPal Express button should be under the Order Total line
2. Proceed To Checkout button is not hidden even though “Hide standard checkout button on cart page” is set in PayPal Express settings tab
3. The postage charges are being omitted when the PayPal button is pressed and client is on the PayPal payment page

Please help with these issues as soon as possible.

Just talking to myself here…

Item 1 was sorted by updating the theme from 1.3.0 to 1.4.0

Item 2 was sorted by hacking cart.php override file and manually commented the line out – please provide a proper fix so it works as expected from the setting tab of paypal express

Item 3 is actually the proper way the PayPal Express works (read the documentation page thoroughly)

The only thing to add, would be nice to have the PayPal express Order Review page customised to fit the theme’s styling if possible.

The forever spinning checkout page is fixed with this update – thanks. However the QTY field and “Proceed to checkout” issues are not, please fix…
