This topic has been marked as not a support question.
Hello, I’m running OC 1.5.6, and 2.2.4 Shoppica2, along with SEO pack pro. The Smart Cache looks like it’s causing some confusion with the category links on the main menu bar. Basically I have 2 languages, Japanese and English, and therefore 2 separate URLs and 2 separate category names, e.g. http://domain.com/en/office-en The issue is that after maybe a few hours of having the plugin installed, when switching languages, the category links stay as the English ones, and don’t switch to the Japanese ones as they should. It seems to be inconsistent when it’s happening, I just logged into the admin panel, and the links went back to normal for the categories. If I disable SmartCache, it looks like everything works correctly again. Also If i clear the cache everything goes back to normal for a while (few hours). Hopefully you might be able to pin point the issue. If you go to the website , the default language should be Japanese, but you will see the category links are pointing to the English pages. good luck figuring out this bug |

I really need to disable the extension on my site now, as I will launch the website quite soon, and don’t want to launch it with this issue. Please let me know if you want me to re-enable the extension to test anything. thanks |

Hello again, It looks like this is the same issue as: http://support.themeburn.com/topic/26503 Probably because I have the SEO pack installed with smart cache, and have more than one language. Can you let me know if you will be able to fix this at some point in the future ? I just need to know either way, If not I can try another cache plugin. thanks |

It seems the ‘smart cache’ extension conflicts with the SEO pack extension. That’s why it is marked as ‘experimental’. It is not released as stable as we are still testing it with different configurations. Can you send us the latest version of the “SEO pack extension” you are currently using ? We do not make a promise to provide a fix ASAP however. Regards, |
