Sold out label on product listing and in product page of Pavilion?

Hi, How do I get a sold out label (sort of like the discount label) to show on the product listing image as well as on the product page when an item sells out? Under Theme Settings / Store / Product listing / Element visibility, I have “stock status” checked, but nothing is showing up for any of my sold out items. Please help? Thanks!	meganbrosterman
