Specials not working with shoppica 2.1

Hi, Have shoppica 2.1 installed on oc 1.5.2.1 at http://50.22.67.62/~giftempo/ The special module does not seem to work. If i login to admin and select a product and run a special on the same neither does it display on the website nor i can see a cross or cut off on the price in the admin page as we usually see on default oc template I think as we do not see special running from the admin page itself there is something wrong. Please help	gjaindel
