Upgrade opencart

Hi,

I’m intending to upgrade opencart from 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.3.1.

It is recommended to disable the shoppica theme prior to the update.

Do I have to uninstall the 2 modules for shoppica first (CP and banner) before deactivating the theme at system settings? If so, will the configuration be wiped out in those 2 modules?

After upgrading opencart, i’ll also be updating to shoppica v1.0.15. So i’ll just replace the files, activate the theme and install the 2 modules again assuming i do not have any other extensions or custom modifications?

This is the upgrade sequence:

1. Select the default opencart theme.
2. Upgrade OpenCart and make sure everything works fine with the default theme.
3. Upload the latest Shoppica version and select back the Shoppica theme.
