Hi, I got a notice that Pavilion 1.2.2 had an update to 1.2.3, which I downloaded – 9219645. In reading the instructions it seems that I should upload all files and overwrtie the existing installation. I am wondering if I read this correctly. I am hesitatant to overwrite everything. If this is correct, will I have to set up permissions all over again? Will I lose any modifications I have made – like the new products and menu configuration?
Thank you.

OK, I figured I would just follow instructions. I downloaded the old cart. I renamed the original files to _old_xxxx. Things did not work out. I got this message so i could not even get into the admin site and follow the instructions there to enable the theme.
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/misty45/public_html/maps-roadlogs/system/startup.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/misty45/public_html/maps-roadlogs/index.php on line 17
I looked at index.php and line 17 is: require_once(DIR_SYSTEM . ‘startup.php’);
I renamed all the old files so i would ahve something to work on. The new files are there as _new_xxxx.
If you can help me, you should still have the login credentials from my last request. Or if it is just something dumb I have done, just let me know. Thanks.

Never mind. I have another idea.

Hi,
Generally, you don’t need to rename any theme folders or files. All you need is upload the new theme version and overwrite when prompted.
It is recommended to backup your store database first, just for a case.
