Hello BurnEngine support,
I´m currently working with a sitemap extension and I have a question about the cached image and pictures for Google index etc.
When I´m looking at both the original sitemap module and my new extension, the image links is like following:
1. I wonder if it´s normal to link to chached images files? I think the actual image title is not optimal for the moment.
2. I also wonder about theme settings for Pavilion compared to original settings (for example for image dimensions). Under Modules / Themes I have both “BurnEngine” and “Standard Theme” and both are activated. Is it correct to have like this or should the “Standard Theme” status be deactivated when I´m using Pavilion?
Best regards Thomas

Hi,
1) Linking to cached images is the default OpenCart behavior. Don’t think there is some importance if you put reference to the original image.
2) You can deactivate it if you want. It shouldn’t mess with the currently active theme (BurnEngine).
If we are missing something from your question, please provide more details.

Dear Support team,
Thanks for your reply and your support! Then I will try to deactivate default theme settings.
When it comes to image chache: what is the advantages to clear the image cache? The url´s is not changing after deleting cached images? I´m looking at this module “Delete Cached Images”:
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=33122
Maybe it´s a newbie question but we all learn litte by little every day, I´m thankful for any answer!
Best regards Thomas

Hi Thomas,
There is no advantage in deleting cached images. In fact you will need extra server time in re-generating them again. This extension would be useful if you have another extension that modifies images, e.g. our image quality setting.
Image cache url does not change – this is the default OpenCart behavior. Cached image name is based on the original image one with size appended on.
