Tried everything 4 times and the same message comes up.

 

Warning! You see this message because Shoppica 2 is not properly installed/configured. This happens usually due one (or more) of the following reasons:

1. You have not installed the Shoppica 2 module. Please, go to admin panel, enter Extensions -> Modules, find ‘Shoppica 2 CP’ and click ‘install’.

2. You have not properly updated your index.php file. It should contain these two lines (near the end):

// TB
$controller->dispatch(new Action(‘common/tb’, array(‘front’ => $controller)), new Action(‘error/not_found’));
3. You have not replaced the opencart core files (system/engine/controller.php and catalog/model/setting/extension.php) with these provided with the Shoppica package.

Hi Bkenal;

Try to do :

- Browse theme package -> shoppica_v.2.2.1 -> OpenCart_v.1.5.4.1 folder

- Upload using another FTP client all files inside the FILES_TO_UPLOAD folder and overwrite the existing once on prompt. Put the files in the opencart installation root.

- Browse theme package -> shoppica_v.2.2.1 -> Additional -> OpenCart_v.1.5.4.1 folder and upload the index.php file in the installation root.

- Go to OpenCart administration and activate the theme from System › Settings › Edit Store settings › Store tab › Template dropdown

- Go to Extensions › Modules. Here you must install Shoppica 2 CP module (click on the “install” link).

Hi @bkenal!

Generally this is not a support question because your site does not work with the default theme as well. This error has nothing to do with Shoppica and it is due to improper opencart installation.

As an excuse for the delayed answer, we fixed the problems for you. You had a missing line in the index.php file and you haven’t also uploaded the catalog/controller/common/tb.php file.
