Hi, thanks for the great theme. I am using WP e-Commerce and Shoppica for a client and was wondering if there was a known bug when trying to save or update billing/contact information?
It doesn’t validate the form fields, or save/update the user info, it just returns to the same page and doesn’t save the update.
I think there is a problem in wpsc-user-log.php with the validation. Can someone please let me know if they have experienced this issue?
Thanks,
Anthony

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that it does the same on checkout as well. Could this be part of a bigger problem?

Hi,
Which version of the theme you use?
Can you please download latest version and upload it, and let us know if this fixed the problem?
Thanks

Hi, I just uploaded the latest version of the theme (which is probably the same version as the one I had) and tested and it still is not working.
Is there a problem with wpsc-user-log.php ?
Thanks for the help.

Hey, very strange because its working here with the latest version of the theme.
We will need the ftp access, so we can check.
You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Latest theme has been uploaded (you will see _bak) and it still isn’t working. I’m also using latest WP e-Commerce version as well.

Hi,
Is your site live, and can we switch themes to default wordpress theme?
The problem is not in wpsc-user-log.php, because we already tried with the default wp e-commerce file and its still not working.

Yes you can test with theme switch. It’s not “live” yet – i havent finished setting up the billing yet.
I’m running latest versions of the Shoppica theme, WP e-comerce and WordPress.

Thank you. Can you tell me, do I need to wait till you do that as I noticed a “test” field on that page’s account update or is it right to use now?
|

Hi,
No, you don`t have to wait, also delete the test field.

Thanks for resolving the problem. I have removed the extra field as you suggested and confirmed its now working on this version of the theme.
It seems though that the Facebook widget in the footer is now displaying differently than the one in v1 of the theme that I had originally.
Is this a deliberate change? It’s the native Facebook widget rather than the styled version from vV1 of the theme.
I have uploaded a screenshot so you can see what I mean.
I also tried replacing the widget from the earlier version but it didn’t work correctly. The original one just asked for the Facebook page ID, but this widget asks for the full URL.
Please let me know if this is a deliberate change, as I would prefer the original widget as it’s styled to match the theme. Was this change caused by the fix you implemented?
Thanks again.

Hi,
We changed the styling of Facebook like box, because facebook disabled custom styling before 2 weeks.
Last week they back the option for custom styling but we are not sure if this will remain.
Tomorrow we will post how to use the previous styling with 1.1.1

Hi,
Attached is the widget with the old style, but LIKE button no longer works with old style (this is facebook bug).
