About name page shop/product link.

Hello TB Support,

My website is http://nuochoack.com, and I am using vietnamese language for my website but i got a problem with title and name link shop/product page.

In my website.

1/ “NƯỚC HOA (page)” menu: it has a bad title “Products | Nước Hoa”. How could I change “Products” to vietnamese language?, and this page has a nice name link: http://nuochoack.com/nuoc-hoa/

2/ “NƯỚC HOA NAM and NƯỚC HOA NỮ” is a product-category: The link is display not good:
http://nuochoack.com/product-category/nuoc-hoa-nam/ and http://nuochoack.com/product-category/nuoc-hoa-nu/. How could i make the name link look nicer or without name “product-category”.?

3/ How Could I create two or more Shop page. The page shop have a nice link

Please help me.

Hi,

3) Its not possible to have more than one Shop Page.

We will need the admin access, so we can check about 1 and 2.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

2) Install any SEO plugin and edit your page title.

3) Sorry but you have to ask in Woocommerce support forum how to change this, we provide support only for theme related problems.

My question is:

TURNING MY POSTS INTO PRODUCTS (I have so much content here I can’t loose)

I have wordpress e-commerce installed on my Shoppica Theme. Please note this is for the site: http://www.simplybeautifulfurniture.com

Since, this site had a previous e-commerce theme that had me set up all my product in “posts” not a category called products. I have every product, product details, images under “posts.” The store is in “catalog” mode because they can’t purchase the used furniture online. It is to show off the pieces.

1.) How do I get all of my “posts” now to show up under “products” tab. I exported them in a .xml file for you to view. Is there a way in my dashboard to do this?

2.) What is the best way to do this?

Hi – thanks I have 3 more questions:

1.) Whatever page I am currently on, for example Home- Consignment Furniture – this shows up in the top right corner (as menu item ) and is WHITE. However, white is my background color and you cannot see it until you actuallly put your cursor over this white space. How and where do I change this color in the code. please tell me specifically how to change this so I can see my “homepage button called- Home-Consingment Furniture” when I am on the homepage.

2.) For all of the product categories and post categories I have long great descriptions that I would like to show up on the page. They are imputed in the dashboard but they do not show up under the category along with pictures. I would like the IMAGE and product or post category DESCRIPTIONS to show on the page above where the products or posts are listed. How and where do I do this?

3.) How do I get my Layer slider image to appear? It is created under “Layer slider – unnamed 2.”

This is how I though I do it- I have the layer chosen in Theme Options>Intro>Intro Type>Layer Slider and then chosen the name of my layer slider called “unnamed 2.” I save it – it says saved. I navigate away from the page and come back and it is back to NO INTRO. It didn’t save my settings.

4.) I want to set the store to catalog mode so prices don’t appear. How do I do this?

Hi,

1) This is because you set white color for current menu item, and homepage is current one. If you change current page color to black it will be okay.

2) There is no description on product categories, the description is on post categories and as we already let you know its impossible to use posts as products.

3) We just added layerslider to this page “Home- Consignment Furniture” and everything is working okay.

4) You can`t hide the prices from theme options yet, we may add this with next theme update. For now you can hide them with css.

1.) please tell me how and where specifically in the dashboard I can change the white color for the current menu item to be black so when I am on the current pages (I can see the text of what that page is called).

2.) thank you for adding the layerslider. Can you please tell me where you did this so I can know?

3.) The slider image you added is too big. I would like the image to display similar size to your shoppica template theme slider demo (which is about 991x 380). My pictures are only 960×372 (smaller). Why do they display bigger?

- please show me where in code or specifically where in dashboard I can change this so they display in a similar size to the shoppica demo.

why aren’t my products showing up as thumbnails correctly on the homepage as shown in demo: http://www.shoppica2.com/

as shown under featured. Please tell me specific directions how and where I can add this?

Hi,

1) Go to Theme Options -> Colors or Apperance -> Themes -> Customize for live preview. Check documentation for this.

2) Go to Theme Options -> Intro

3) Please edit the slider to your personal needs.

4) http://www.shoppica2.com/ is Open Cart version not WordPress. WordPress demo is http://shoppica-wordpress.com

Hi Thank you,

1.) How do i edit the slider image size. It doesn’t matter what the image size is that it upload. I tried all pixel sizes it still shows up HUGE.

It seems like there is some strange default coding making it big. Please tell me how and where I change this.

2.) What is link for there documentation?

I cannot find this where you said. I can’t find it ANYWHERE . You had said go to 1) Go to Theme Options -> Colors or Apperance -> Themes ->

It is not here. I have changed every space where there is currently “white” to another color to test it and it is not here. Can you please tell me exactly where I can change this?

Hello,

This is caused by your plugin “Menu on footer”, remove it or change plugin css to fix the color.
